COVID-19 Booster Shots now available
People aged 18 years and older may receive a booster at least six months after receiving their second dose of any of the COVID-19 vaccines registered for use in Australia.
The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be offered as the booster dose, regardless of the COVID-19 vaccine received for the first or second dose.

If you have any questions about the vaccine, please book a GP consultation prior to your vaccination appointment, unfortunately, there will not be time for a consultation at the time of your vaccination.

Which vaccine will I get?
Both the AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines are available at Advanced Health Medical Centre Bankstown.
When can I get the vaccine?
The COVID-19 vaccine is now available at our Bankstown clinic. Bookings can be made online anytime or by calling our practice on 02 8123 0183.
What if I have concerns about my vaccination?
If you have questions about the vaccination, we encourage you to book a GP consultation prior to your vaccination as there will not be time for a full consultation at the time of your COVID-19 vaccine appointment.
How long will the appointment take?
Vaccines will be administered during a 10-minute appointment.
If you have any questions about receiving the vaccine please make a face-to-face appointment with your GP prior to your vaccine as we will not be able to offer consults during the vaccination clinics.
Will my appointment be bulk billed?
The COVID-19 vaccine is available free for anyone living in Australia.
Any pre-vaccination consultations will be subject to the regular billing arrangements for the various GPs in our practice.
